We are excited to announce that Florida Casting Director Ellen Jacoby is coming to Jacksonville to teach a one-day acting workshop on Saturday, June 9th. Ellen's most recent project was handling the Florida castings for the upcoming film ROCK OF AGES (being released national on June 15th) with an all star cast including Tom Cruise, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Alec Baldwin and Russell Brand.
Ellen Jacoby has been an iconic casting figure here in Florida for decades and has cast for such blockbuster films as Ali, Bad Boys, The Truman Show, The Waterboy, Something About Mary and the hit TV show Burn Notice.
Ellen will be teaching two credential based workshop classes on Saturday, June 9th at the Performer's Academy in Jacksonville. The workshops are open to talent of all ages, but with focus on those aspiring and working actors ages 8 to 88.
