PRC Digital Media Honored


Three videos produced by PRC Digital Media have been honored by the Academy of
Interactive and Visual Arts at their 23rd Annual Communicator Awards.

Dream Home is the story of The Arc Jacksonville’s innovative program for the
independent living for intellectually and developmentally disabled individuals. The
Academy chose the video for an Award of Excellence, the top prize in the category of
Social Issues.

PRC also received an Award of Distinction (Silver) for their documentary, Troubled
Waters: Connections and Consequences which chronicles the damage being done to
the St. Johns River and the aquifer which supplies our drinking water. The program
aired on WJXT in November.

In the training category, a Silver for CSX Environmental Certification Training. This
marked the 22nd year PRC has produced this training which is used for all 17,000
operational employees and more than 300 of the railroad’s contracting companies.
Ray Hays, Producer and Writer for all three programs said, “The Arc story is one we told
with our heart, and the environment has always been a priority for us, so it is really
exciting that these three titles were recognized.”

The Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA) is an assembly of leading professionals dedicated to recognizing the rapidly evolving nature of traditional and interactive media.
