We know you are all excited that the 2011 Jacksonville Film Industry Reception is just around the corner! Generally at this event, the Jacksonville Film & Television Office presents the Film & TV Industry Award to individuals from Northeast Florida who have made outstanding contributions to the film and television industry over a span of several years.
This year, we are adding a new award to the mix … introducing the Rising Star Award! There are many individuals under the age of 40 who have made a significant contribution to our local production community, and we believe that they should be honored for their great work! Don’t you? Do you know of someone who could be the First Rising Star? Go ahead and nominate them! It’s quick and easy! This award, for the “next” generation, honors a role model and someone who stands out as a potential “star of the future.”
