Film Society: WINNEBAGO MAN

Jack Rebney is a former TV newsman who shot an industrial film for Winnebago Industries in 1988. During production, Rebney had a habit of losing his temper: repeatedly, profanely and hilariously. A funny and poignant documentary about the bizarre nature of modern fame.

UNF Film Club: A PROPHET

Crime drama about a 19-year-old Franco-Arab and his struggle to survive in a French prison dominated by Corsicans. Belgium film released in 2009.

LOVE TRAP, a feature by Frank B. Goodin II of Jacksonville, has won Best Feature at four film festivals. Richard, a laid-back, yet forward-thinking law student is hanging out with the guys at a local pool hall when he meets Angel, a seductive vixen. She smothers him with attention, a situation most guys wish for. Faced with temptation, Richard makes a seemingly innocent suggestion that sets in motion a series of events that ultimately unbalances his world.
