Jacksonville Film & Television Office Now Taking Nominations!

It is that time of year again…time to start thinking about who should be the next Award Recipient at the 2011 Jacksonville Film Industry Reception. Not only are we taking nominations for the annual Jacksonville Film & TV Industry Award, but we are also adding a new award this year called the Rising Star Award which is for the “next” generation.

The Rising Star Award is for those individuals (from Northeast, FL) under the age of 40 who have made a significant contribution to our local production community. The Film & TV Industry Award is designed specifically for those individuals (from Northeast, FL) who have made outstanding contributions and a significant impact to the film and television industry over a span of several years. Past recipients include: Dan Kossoff (pictured), Donald Barton, Ted Johnson and the late Representative Don Davis.
